He holds an executive MBA from the Kellogg-Recanati Business School and a MSc in biomedical engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.
Prior to leading PregnanTech, David was the medical director of multidisciplinary collaboration platforms at Sheba Medical Center, assigned to proactively align physicians and engineers from the Israeli medical industry and academia to develop cost-effective, innovative medical technology solutions to meet pressing clinical problems. He has extensive experience in inventing, innovating and developing new medical technologies.
Limor is a senior manager with over 20 years of experience investing in healthcare innovation and managing start-ups in medical devices. Limor served as CEO of AV Medical Technologies. During her tenure, AV completed product development, obtained CE and FDA approvals, and began generating sales in the United States. Following a successful partnership, AV was acquired by Medtronic in late 2019.
In Parallel, Limor was a partner in Access Medical Ventures (AMV), invested and served as a director in medical device start-ups. Prior to that, Limor served at management positions in healthcare VCs – 7Healthventures, Evergreen and XT – leading due diligence and portfolio development.
She possesses over eight years of experience in medical devices as a Clinical Research Associate and Clinical Trials Manager. During her tenure in a leading regulatory affairs consulting company, Nufar has monitored and managed multiple clinical trials conducted worldwide, for a variety of medical device companies.
Guy posses significant experience both in start-ups and in large companies. As part of the R&D team he supported clinical trials side by side to product development and later established a start-up’s first production line outside of Israel. Guy also gained experience in large-scale production as part of the New-Product-Industrialization department in Philips healthcare.
He has authored over 600 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts and is the editor of many medical textbooks in Obstetrics. Prof. Berghella has been a member and chairman of several committees of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), is an Oral Examiner for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and is Past-President of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM). He is Editor in chief of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology MFM (AJOG MFM), Deputy Editor at UpToDate, and Associate Editor for the Cochrane Review. His research specializes in high-risk pregnancies and, in particular, the prediction and prevention of preterm birth.
She is a managing partner of SteelSky Ventures LLC, an investing member in the SeaChange Fund, Portfolia's Femtech Fund, Sage Growth Capital and Pipeline Angels. Her professional background includes numerous roles in corporate banking, risk management, project management and healthcare. Buffy serves on the board of the Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital and the Washington State Hospital Association. She earned an MST from Oregon Graduate Institute of Science & Technology and BS in Psychology & Biology from Pacific University.
Prof. Schiff headed Sheba's high-risk obstetrics and prenatal services departments. He has published over 100 academic papers in his field. Prof. Schiff has extensive experience in managing medical organizations with large teams, experience as CEO and COO of technology startup companies. He has healthy relationships with the VC industry and experience as a director and investor in several other biotech innovative start-up companies in the computational and pharma fields.
He has extensive investment experience and serves as a director in many of Trendlines' portfolio companies. Mr. Rhodes has years of management experience, including in-depth understanding of all the financial and organizational requirements for commercial exploitation of start-up companies. Steve has been active in the medical device industry for more than 30 years, first as a senior executive in a medical device company and subsequently as an investor, director, and mentor.
